Door-to-door energy products now banned in Alberta
Starting Jan. 1, 2017, Alberta will prohibit unsolicited door-to-door sales of natural gas and electricity contracts, furnaces, water heaters and other related energy products.

Modernizing renewal reminders
Alberta has switched to paperless renewal reminders. You can now choose from a variety of electronic reminders or mark the renewal dates on your calendar.
Albertans holding parking placards for persons with disabilities or disabled licence plates will continue to receive renewal reminders through the mail. Those over the age of 70 will receive mailed reminders until April 1, 2017.
