Internet Service Providers

Across the province, the Alberta SuperNet creates new business opportunities for Internet service providers (ISPs):

• Set up high-speed Internet connections for homes and businesses
  
  
• Network is open to ISPs of any size
  
  
• 402 rural communities
  
  
• Increased competition

SuperNet Access

In order to access the Internet through the SuperNet, there needs to be a private sector ISP available. Essentially, the SuperNet is like a highway and ISPs are the roads that connect individual houses and buildings to that highway.
